Guests are offered a true Highland welcome in this early Victorian farmhouse set in a superb central location 7 miles east of Inverness, amidst 210 acres of family-run arable farmland with beef cattle, sheep and growing grain.
With panoramic views of Culloden Forest and Cawdor Hills, we are situated 1 mile from Castle Stuart and 5 miles from Culloden.
Easter Dalziel Farmhouse is very convenient if you are arriving or departing via Inverness Airport at nearby Dalcross.Established in 1972, the quality of this establishment has been recognised by having a place in the Best Bed and Breakfast Guide and The Good Britain Guide. We have also achieved 3 star gradings in both the AA and Scottish Tourist Board schemes.
The whole ambience in the house is relaxed and is designed to make guests feel at home. The hall with its curved stairs and lovely cherry banister is enhanced by a display of original paintings and Margaret's needlework.

The farmhouse has probably been in existence since the early 17th century and was partially rebuilt in 1872. With its yellow pine woodwork and antique furniture, the farmhouse is a delightful home offering a warm welcome and personal service.
Tea/coffee and home baking are served on arrival in the lounge with its Victorian style fireplace and log fire. Our area caters for a wide variety of interests and we have folders packed full of information on what to see and do during your stay. Colour television, videos and books are provided for your enjoyment. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have - we will be delighted to help. |

Bedrooms
The house has 3 charming guest rooms, all with duvets, wash basins, tea and coffee trays with homemade shortbread and hospitality baskets. Hairdryers are available. Cawdor Bedroom is the largest double we have available, has large south facing windows with open views of farmland, pine forests and in the distance the heather clad Cawdor hills. Furnished with antique mahogany furniture, Sanderson bed linen and pretty inverted tulip cup central and wall lights. Original paintings and Margaret's tapestries adorn the walls. |

Stuart Bedroom with its lovely stripped pine wood has a view over fields to the west. A brass headboard and pretty lemon and rust linen by Dorma adorn the double bed. Original paintings and pretty plate collection on the walls. From the window the coronetted top of Castle Stuart can be seen in the distance.

![]() Dunrobin Bedroom in the oldest part of the house has a view north out over the front courtyard to the field and pine forest beyond. The coomb ceiling with its pretty pastel wallpaper harmonise well with the Victoria Rose bed linen. Furnished with antique furniture. Paintings and pretty plate collection grace the walls. |

Dining
True Highland Hospitality is to be found here. Breakfast is served at the large oak dining table with its magnificent matching sideboard. Guests are offered a choice from our menu which includes full Scottish breakfast of porridge, kippers and poached eggs, mouthwatering homemade jams and marmalades and a selection of teas and coffees. |

Large garden for the enjoyment of guests
Margaret loves gardening and often the large garden borders are awash with colour. There is a small rock garden, and a mixture of shrub and herbaceous borders. The dining room window looks out onto a pretty heather bed with plant varieties flowering all year round. |

Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation must be given as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to relet the accommodation and money refunded. In the unlikely event of us being unsuccessful, you will be liable for the holiday cost minus any deposit paid. It is therefore advisable for you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. |

We take delight in advising guests of the many and varied attractions in the area and also further afield. Within easy reach are Cawdor Castle and gardens, Brodie Castle, Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns, Fort George, the Moray Firth dolphins and of course Loch Ness with its monster. A wide range of sporting facilities are to be found at Inverness and Nairn (8 miles) including golf, pony trekking, sailing, fishing, tennis and bowls.
