For the past 29 years Bob and Margaret have welcomed guests to their farmhouse and cottages with many returning again and again from around the world. Easter Dalziel is set in a superb central location amidst 210 acres of family run farmland. It is very accessible and lies between the A96 and B9039 seven miles east of Inverness.
Communications are excellent - we are a 20-minute drive from Inverness and 30 minutes from Loch Ness. If you come by car there is easy access and ample off road parking. You can fly from London and be here in 2 hours! New guests are surprised to find such peace and quiet only 1 mile from an airport, however regulars know they can have a wake up call when they wish!
Around our area, with its wealth of beauty and history, there is an abundance of sightseeing and sporting opportunities. Virtually every type of Highland scenery is within range, from mountain to forest, grouse moor to glen, river to seascape so why not stay for a while?
Whether your visit is for business or pleasure you will find that Easter Dalziel is a conveniently positioned base. Click here for a zoomable map of our location.

With its proximity to woodland, fields and sea there is a huge variety of birds on the farm - one of our self-catering guests counted 52 different kinds. Many birds can be seen in the area - lookout for buzzards and owls in the wood beside the cottage and sparrow hawks, kestrels and often a heron down the road. Roe deer can be seen in the woods and a weasel occasionally frolics in the garden! Foxes and badgers frequent the area, the occasional hare and hundreds of rabbits. Try counting the rabbits!!
